Located in the heart of the Reek's District an area of outstanding beauty, Tiġ Thady is a characterful stone cottage built over 100 years ago as a level crossing gate house, after the railway line closed in 1960 the cottage became a family home and farm before The cottage was lovingly restored and renovated in 2019.
Inside
The tender renovation of Tiġ Thady opened up the ground floor area with a light filled double height dining area an open plan Kitchen/Living area, behind one door hides the shower-room with exposed stone and brickwork. Furnishings are a mix of repurposed antiques and modern pieces.
Outside
A former level crossing gate cottage. The +100 year old Stone built cottage set on an acre of land adjacent to a blanket bog with private access to explore the flora and fauna. This is a quaint and cosy home in a unique setting overlooking the majestic Mcgillicuddy Reeks Irelands' largest mountain range.

Caragh Lake is at the centre of the Kerry ‘Reeks District’, an area of outstanding beauty with Irelands' highest mountain Carrauntoohil. The perfect place to experience the beauty of the outdoors on the world famous Ring of Kerry route. Enjoy golfing, fishing, hill walking, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, cycling and more on your doorstep.
